What it takes as a Nigerian to reside in New Zealand permanently

Post by Narurgefea9 »

Hi there. There are a range of visas that you can use to gain residency in New Zealand. I recommend reading Immigration New Zealand’s All visa options for living permanently. Some common visa options include the:

Skilled Migrant Category Residency Visa
Long term skills shortage list work visa, which contains a pathway to citizenship
Long term skills shortage list residency visa
Work to residency visa
Talent Accredited Employer work visa
Talent Accredited Employer residency visa
Would recommend browsing Immigration New Zealand’s website: New Zealand Visas | Immigration New Zealand. You may also want to check out the points indicator for skilled migrants: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zea ... -smc-28aug. Hope this helps.

You either have to have money: Peter Thiel bought NZ citizenship.

Or be qualified at some skill we want, or be a refugee.

Currently we don’t have enough houses for all our residents and the huge number of tourists we get here each year, so I recommend you don’t try until about five years time.

Unless you want to live in a car, that is.

Unfortunately earthquakes and local laws mean that traditional African house construction is not acceptable here.
